How Fetch Airlines collects, uses, protects, and shares information across our website, booking platform, and private charter operations.
Last updated:
Fetch Airlines, Inc. (“Fetch Airlines,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from and about our customers, brokers, passengers, website visitors, and flight crew, how we use and protect that information, when and why we share it, and the rights and choices available to you. Aviation is a heavily regulated industry, and some of the information we collect — passenger identities, weights, and crew records — is gathered because federal law and flight safety require it. We’ve tried to be clear about exactly why.
1. Who We Are
Fetch Airlines, Inc. operates a private air-charter brand headquartered at Camarillo Airport (KCMA), Camarillo, California. Charter flights marketed under the Fetch Airlines brand are operated by Tryp Air Charter LLC under U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 14 CFR Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate AHZA106C (ARGUS Gold rated). Where this Policy refers to “Fetch Airlines,” it includes our operations conducted under that certificate. Our future SkyCU — Airborne Critical Care medevac service will operate under its own separate FAA operating certificate; this Policy will be extended to cover it when it launches.
Fetch Airlines is the business/controller responsible for the personal information described here. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, see Section 19.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to information collected through www.fetchairlines.com and our online booking platform, by phone, email, and text, in the course of quoting, booking, and operating charter flights, and from our flight crew and personnel. It does not apply to the independent privacy practices of third parties we work with (for example, FBOs, payment processors, or government agencies), which are governed by their own policies.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide directly
- Account & customer profile: name, email, mobile number, mailing/billing address, company name, and whether you are a direct customer or a broker.
- Booking & itinerary: requested airports, dates, times, trip type (round-trip, one-way, multi-city), and special requests.
- Passenger manifest information: for each passenger on a charter segment — full name, date of birth, gender, body weight, baggage weight, and the type of government-issued identification (driver’s license, passport, or other government ID). See Section 4 for why weights and IDs are required.
- Pet information: pet name, type, weight, vaccination status, temperament, and whether the animal will travel in a carrier or in the cabin.
- Catering & cabin preferences: food, beverage, and service selections and dietary needs.
- Payment information: cardholder name, billing address, and card details necessary to authorize a hold or process a charge (handled as described in Section 8).
- Contracts & e-signatures: charter agreement acknowledgments and electronic signatures, together with the audit trail we capture to make them legally reliable (signature image, timestamp, IP address, and device/browser information).
- Communications: the content of emails, texts, chat, and phone calls with our team, including flight-confirmation acknowledgments you provide.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and interactions with our site.
- Cookies & similar technologies: as described in Section 10.
- Approximate location derived from IP address.
3.3 Information from third parties
- Brokers & travel arrangers who book on your behalf may provide your and your passengers’ details.
- FBOs, ground handlers, and catering vendors in connection with your trip.
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention services that confirm and secure transactions.
4. Aviation Safety, Security & Regulatory Data
Certain information is collected specifically because aviation safety and federal regulations require it. We limit this data to what is necessary for those purposes.
- Weight & balance. Passenger and baggage weights are used to compute the aircraft’s weight and center of gravity for each flight. Accurate weights are a flight-safety requirement, and we rely on them to keep the aircraft within its certified limits.
- Passenger manifests. We maintain a manifest of persons aboard each flight, as required for Part 135 operations and emergency-response purposes.
- Identity verification. Government-ID type (and, where required, ID details) may be collected to confirm passenger identity consistent with security requirements.
- International travel. For flights that cross a U.S. border (for example, to or from Mexico), we may be required to submit Advance Passenger Information — such as full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and passport/travel-document details — to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and comparable foreign authorities.
- Security programs. Where a flight is subject to a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security program, we handle passenger information in accordance with that program’s requirements.
- Safety management & incident records. Flight, duty, and safety-related records (including risk assessments) are maintained to support our safety program and regulatory obligations.
5. Flight Crew, Pilots & Personnel
Our pilots and personnel entrust us with sensitive information, and we treat it accordingly. This section describes the crew-related data we (and the operating certificate holder) collect and how it is handled, including our crew members’ rights.
- Airman credentials & qualifications: pilot and crew certificates, ratings, endorsements, type-specific training and checking records, and currency.
- Medical & fitness-for-duty: FAA medical certificate status and information necessary to confirm fitness for duty, handled as confidential.
- Duty and rest records: flight time, duty periods, and rest, maintained for compliance with flight- and duty-time limitations.
- Pilot Records Database (PRD): in accordance with 14 CFR Part 111, we may request, receive, report, and retain pilot records through the FAA’s Pilot Records Database, with the pilot’s written consent where required.
- Background & security screening: employment history, criminal-history records checks (CHRC), and security screening as required for airport and operational access.
- Drug & alcohol testing: as a safety-sensitive workforce, our crew is subject to DOT/FAA anti-drug and alcohol-misuse testing under 14 CFR Part 120; related records are kept confidential and used only for that program.
- Standard employment data: contact details, government identifiers required for payroll and tax, and emergency contacts.
Crew rights and safeguards. Crew information is used only for lawful employment, safety, and regulatory purposes; access is restricted on a need-to-know basis; and it is disclosed outside Fetch Airlines and the operator only as required by the FAA, DOT, TSA, or other authorities, as authorized by the crew member, or as permitted by law. Crew members retain the rights described in Section 13 to the extent those laws apply to employment or applicant data, and may contact us using Section 19 with any questions about their records.
6. How We Use Information
- Quote, book, plan, operate, and complete your charter flights safely and lawfully.
- Verify identity, run weight-and-balance, build manifests, and meet security/border requirements.
- Process payments, holds, refunds, credits, and loyalty benefits.
- Prepare and administer charter contracts and electronic signatures.
- Send operational messages — confirmations, run sheets, arrival and ready-to-board updates, weather and schedule changes — and respond to your requests.
- Provide customer support and improve our website, booking flow, and services.
- Maintain safety, security, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
- Detect and prevent fraud, and protect our rights, property, and the safety of people and aircraft.
- Send marketing communications where permitted (you can opt out at any time).
7. How & Why We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run your flight and our business, including with:
- Our operating certificate holder, Tryp Air Charter LLC, and our flight crew, to plan and conduct your flight.
- Airports, FBOs, ground handlers, and catering vendors supporting your trip.
- Payment processors and financial institutions to authorize and settle payments.
- Government and regulatory authorities (e.g., FAA, TSA, CBP, DOT, and foreign equivalents) where required for safety, security, border, or legal purposes.
- Service providers (e.g., hosting, communications, analytics, e-signature, and fraud-prevention vendors) that process information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Professional advisors and insurers, and in connection with legal claims.
- Successors in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- Others with your consent or at your direction (for example, a broker or travel companion).
8. Payment Data & PCI DSS
Payment card processing is handled consistent with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). We use card details to place an authorization hold or process a charge, and we do not retain sensitive authentication data such as your card verification value (CVV/CVC) after authorization. Full card numbers are handled through secure processing and are not stored in plain text in our customer records. Depending on your booking, you may authorize either a hold (with balance due by wire) or a card charge, including any disclosed processing fee.
9. Text Messaging (SMS) & Phone Calls
If you provide your mobile number and opt in, we may send transactional and operational text messages about your trip (confirmations, arrival and boarding updates, and time-sensitive changes), and, where you agree, occasional service messages. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing. We may monitor or record phone calls for quality, training, and recordkeeping where permitted by law.
10. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand traffic. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage; it is configured with IP anonymization and consent-mode defaults that permit cookieless measurement while denying advertising and personalization storage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics via Google’s opt-out browser add-on, and use browser or platform privacy controls. If we adopt advertising cookies in the future, we will update this section and honor applicable opt-out signals.
11. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, safety, and dispute-resolution obligations. Certain aviation records — including flight, manifest, maintenance, training, duty/rest, testing, and safety records — are retained for the periods required by the FAA and other authorities, which may be longer than we would otherwise keep them. When information is no longer required, we delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of it.
12. How We Protect Your Data
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, and secure handling of payment and identity data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; please help protect your account by keeping your contact details current and notifying us of any suspected unauthorized use.
13. Your Privacy Rights
13.1 California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, to access and delete your information, to correct inaccurate information, to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined), to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Over the past twelve months we have collected the categories described in Section 3 (which may include identifiers, contact and commercial information, payment information, government identifiers, characteristics such as age/gender, biometric-adjacent data such as signature and weight, internet activity, geolocation, and employment/professional data for crew), for the business purposes described in Section 6. We do not knowingly sell personal information, including that of consumers under 16.
13.2 Other U.S. states
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or profiling. We honor these rights where they apply.
13.3 EU/UK visitors (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Our legal bases include performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, protecting vital interests and flight safety, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business.
13.4 How to exercise your rights
Submit a request using the contact details in Section 19. We will verify your identity before acting and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
14. Children’s Privacy
Our website and booking services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. When minors travel as passengers, their information is provided by the booking adult for manifest, safety, and weight-and-balance purposes only. If you believe a child provided us information online, please contact us and we will delete it.
15. Third-Party Links & Services
Our site may link to third-party websites and services (for example, social media or a payment provider). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.
16. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and process information here. If you access our services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries, which may have different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
17. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how to respond, we do not currently respond to DNT signals, but we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where required by law.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
